Jordan had always been an athlete in high school. He played on the football team, starred on the baseball team, and devoted a major part of his time to both. As he grew up, however, his interests for those sports dwindled, but his competitive streak never did. Although he worked many hours, he liked exercising and took up cycling. As he came to love the sport, he decided it might be a good idea to take part in a race. As he arrived at his first one, he saw his good friend Larry, and they talked about high school. Jordan knew he could win the race if he tried, and he told Larry that. Larry, taking exception, turned the other way and prepared for the race. As they took off, the two were the clear leaders of the pack and nobody seemed able to even compete. They rode neck-and-neck for the entire race. It added a little more fuel to the fire that Jordan had dated Larry's ex-girlfriend in college. As they rounded the final turn, Jordan cut Larry off and coasted to a victory. Afterwards, Larry shook Jordan's hand, shaking his head, and told him, "Jordan, your wife cheated on you with me."
